Kotkapura Dog Show 2026: Kotkapura Kennel Club 13th and 14th All Breeds Championship Show

What is the Kotkapura Kennel Club dog show?

It is a KCI (Kennel Club of India) all breeds championship dog show held by Kotkapura Kennel Club in Kotkapura, Punjab. Each dog is judged against the written standard for its breed, and the breed winners go on to the group rings and the top awards.

The club’s 13th and 14th shows fall on the weekend of Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026. The KCI schedule gives no day for the 13th or the 14th show, so none is assigned here.

Is the Kotkapura dog show in Kotkapura or Faridkot?

The show city is Kotkapura. Kotkapura is a town in Faridkot district, and Faridkot city is a separate place about 15 km north-west of it (approximate). If you search for a dog show in Faridkot on these dates, the listing points to Kotkapura instead.

Faridkot readers have their own town guide with the distance worked out.

Who are the judges at the Kotkapura Kennel Club show?

The judges are not announced yet. The KCI schedule lists no judge names for this show, so none appear on this page and none are guessed.

Can I attend the dog show in Kotkapura?

Nothing on the KCI listing says whether spectators may attend. Ask Kotkapura Kennel Club whether visitors are admitted and what they pay, using the mobile number or email on this page.

Whether pets are admitted is not listed, so keep your own dog at home unless the club says otherwise.

How should I plan two show days in Kotkapura?

The show runs over a Saturday and a Sunday. One day is enough to see how an all breeds show works. If you are coming for a particular breed, the listing does not say which breeds are judged on which day, so ask the secretary before you plan around it.

Timings are not listed. Call the mobile number on this page for the start time. Late November mornings in northern Punjab can be cool, so a light jacket helps early, and water and a hat help by afternoon.

What will I see at an all breeds championship dog show in Faridkot district?

• Breed rings where each breed faces the judge in turn
• Classes sorted by age and status, from Minor Puppy to Champion
• Top-award rings once the breed winners are chosen
• Handlers grooming and showing their dogs near the rings
• Breeders and club members willing to talk dogs

How do I enter my dog in the Kotkapura Kennel Club show?

Kotkapura Kennel Club takes the entries, not Pupps & Stud. The KCI listing does not set out the entry process, so ask the secretary for the entry form, the closing date, the classes and the documents the club requires.

No closing date is listed for Kotkapura, so entries may already be shut. Use the mobile number or email on this page to put the question to the Kotkapura secretary. Ask as well which class suits your dog’s age.

Is there a Punjab dog show the week before Kotkapura?

Yes. Ludhiana Kennel Club holds its own 60th and 61st All Breeds Championship Dog Show on Sunday 22 November 2026, a week before Kotkapura. They are different clubs with separate listings, contacts and judges.

What should I ask Kotkapura Kennel Club before I travel?

• The exact venue in Kotkapura, since the KCI listing names only the town
• The time the first rings open on Saturday 28 and on Sunday 29 November
• The ticket price for spectators, and parking near the ground
• Whether any judges have been named since this guide was written
• Whether entries are still being taken for the show

Choosing a purebred puppy after the Kotkapura show

A show shows you full-grown dogs, which is the best guide to what a puppy turns into. Notice size, coat, temperament and how a dog behaves around noise. Then talk to breeders about daily exercise and training.

When you are ready, browse KCI-registered puppies from verified breeders, or ask a puppy buyer consultant to help you pick a breed.

Are you a breeder in Faridkot district or nearby?

Breeders in and around Kotkapura can register on Pupps & Stud and list KCI-registered puppies for buyers in the same district.
