What is the Belgaum dog show?
It is a KCI (Kennel Club of India) all breeds championship dog show in Karnataka, held by Belgaum Canine Association. Each dog is judged against its breed standard, and winners go on to compete for Best of Breed and higher awards.
The association holds its 21st and 22nd shows across the weekend of 24 and 25 October 2026, with three national specialty shows listed alongside.
Is the Belgaum dog show the same as the Belagavi dog show?
Yes. Belgaum and Belagavi are two spellings of the same city, and the show listing uses Belgaum.
What is a breed specialty show?
A specialty show is for one breed. The Belgaum listing includes national specialty shows for Boxers, Labradors and Golden Retrievers.
The listing does not say which specialty or which numbered show falls on which day, so ask Belgaum Canine Association if you are going for one breed.
What is the Boxer national specialty show at Belgaum?
A Boxer-only show listed with the Belgaum championship. If you own a Boxer or are weighing one up, it is a chance to see the breed judged against its standard. Read the breed guide first, then look at KCI-registered puppies.
What is the Labrador national specialty show at Belgaum?
A Labrador-only show listed with the Belgaum championship. Labrador fans can compare dogs of the same breed side by side. After the show, the breed guide and the puppy listings help you take the next step.
What is the Golden Retriever national specialty show at Belgaum?
A Golden Retriever-only show listed with the Belgaum championship. Seeing several Goldens in one ring is a good way to learn what a well-bred one looks like before you buy.
Who are the judges at the Belgaum dog show?
The KCI schedule lists four judges: Manuel Queijeiro Piza (Mexico), Kerryn Ann Harvey (Australia), Robert L T Dawson (Thailand) and Ang Eng Keong (Malaysia).

Who can attend the dog show in Belgaum?
Anyone can come and watch: families, first-time puppy buyers, breeders and handlers.

How do I enter my dog in the Belgaum show?
Belgaum Canine Association takes the entries, not Pupps & Stud. Your dog needs KCI registration and vaccination records, plus a completed entry form and fee sent to the club before its closing date.
The closing date is not listed, and entries may already be closed. For later shows, get your dog registered with KCI now.
Any tips before I go?
- Check the start time with the club first, because timings are not listed
- Ask the handler before you touch any dog, and keep children close
- Carry water and wear comfortable shoes
Want a purebred puppy after the show?
Use the show to narrow down a breed. When you are ready, browse KCI-registered puppies from verified breeders, or ask a puppy buyer consultant to help you choose.
