Bangalore Dog Show 2026: Bangalore Canine Club 61st & 62nd All Breeds Championship Show

What is the Bangalore Canine Club dog show?

It is a KCI (Kennel Club of India) all breeds championship dog show in Karnataka, held by Bangalore Canine Club. Dogs are judged breed by breed against the breed standard, and winners move on to Best of Breed and the higher awards.

The KCI schedule lists Sunday 1 November 2026 for the club’s 61st and 62nd shows.

Is the Bangalore Canine Club show the same as the Bengaluru dog show?

Yes. Bengaluru and Bangalore name one city, and the Bangalore Canine Club listing uses Bangalore.

Is this the same show as the Silicon City dog show on 31 October?

No. Silicon City Kennel Club holds its own 133rd and 134th All Breeds Championship Dog Show in Bangalore on Saturday 31 October 2026. The two shows are held by different clubs and listed separately on the KCI schedule.

Each club has its own judges, entries and contact, so do not assume details from one show apply to the other.

Who are the judges at the Bangalore Canine Club show?

The KCI schedule lists five judges: Mr. Kyoji Maruyama (Japan), Ms. Joyce Vanek (USA), Mr. Ken Chuah (Malaysia), Mrs. Hans Almgren (Sweden) and Mr. William John Smith (Australia).

The listing does not say which judge takes which breed or ring.

Coming to Bangalore from a nearby town?

Visitors from around Bangalore can use the town guides for Hosur, Ramanagara and Tumakuru. They cover the Silicon City show on 31 October and point to this one as well.

Who can attend the dog show in Bangalore?

Anyone can come and watch: families, first-time puppy buyers, breeders and handlers.

Entered dogs are what shows usually admit, so leave your own pet at home unless the club says otherwise.

How do I enter my dog in the Bangalore Canine Club show?

Bangalore Canine Club takes the entries, not Pupps & Stud. Your dog needs KCI registration and vaccination records, plus a completed entry form and fee sent to the club before its closing date.

The closing date is not listed and entries may already be closed. The listing has no email address, so use the secretary’s mobile number shown on this page.

Any tips before I go?

• Call the club for the start time, because timings are not listed
• Ask the handler before you touch any dog, and keep children close
• Carry water and wear comfortable shoes

Want a purebred puppy after the show?

Use the ring to narrow down a breed. When you are ready, browse KCI-registered puppies from verified breeders, or ask a puppy buyer consultant to help you choose.
