Ludhiana Dog Show 2026: Ludhiana Kennel Club 60th & 61st All Breeds Championship Show

What is the Ludhiana Kennel Club dog show?

It is a KCI (Kennel Club of India) all breeds championship dog show held by Ludhiana Kennel Club in Ludhiana, Punjab. Each dog is judged against the written standard for its breed. Breed winners then compete in the group rings and for the top awards.

The club’s 60th and 61st shows are both listed for the same day, Sunday 22 November 2026. Two numbered shows on one date is how the listing reads, and it does not say how the day is divided between them.

Is the Ludhiana dog show one day or two?

One day. The KCI schedule lists Sunday 22 November 2026 only, so there is no second show day to fall back on. If you miss the breed you came for on Sunday, you cannot return on Monday.

That makes planning matter. Ring the secretary for the start time, work out your travel, and decide which rings you most want to see before you leave home.

Who are the judges at the Ludhiana Kennel Club show?

The KCI schedule lists two judges: Ms. Yashodhara and Mr. Ranjeet S Munjal. No country or breed allocation is given for either, so none is shown here.

The listing does not say which judge takes which breed, group or ring.

Where is Ludhiana, and what is the show city?

Ludhiana is a city in Punjab, in northern India, and the show city named on the KCI listing. The towns of Doraha, Samrala and Khanna lie in Ludhiana district around it, and Phillaur lies across the Sutlej in Jalandhar district. The town guides below cover each of them.

Can I attend the dog show in Ludhiana?

Spectator admission is not stated on the KCI listing. Ask Ludhiana Kennel Club whether visitors are admitted and what they pay, using the secretary’s mobile number or email on this page.

Pet policy is not listed, so leave your own dog at home unless the club says otherwise.

How should I plan the one-day show in Ludhiana?

Timings are not listed, so call the secretary’s mobile number on this page first. Ask when judging starts, whether the ring order is published, and how to reach the ground. Then plan to be there for the first rings and stay through the group and top-award judging.

Carry water, a hat and comfortable shoes. If you bring children, agree on a meeting point in case you are separated.

What will I see at the one-day Ludhiana championship show?

• Breed after breed in the ring, each judged against its own standard
• Age and status classes, from Minor Puppy and Puppy up to Open and Champion
• Group rings, where the breed winners meet
• Handlers grooming and presenting their dogs at the ringside
• Breeders and club members on hand to answer your questions

How do I enter my dog in the Ludhiana Kennel Club show?

Ludhiana Kennel Club takes the entries, not Pupps & Stud. The KCI listing does not set out the entry process, so ask the secretary for the entry form, the classes, the closing date and the documents the club requires.

The Ludhiana listing gives no closing date, so entries may already be shut. The secretary’s mobile number and email on this page are the place to ask. Also ask which class your dog’s age puts it in.

Is there a Punjab dog show the week after Ludhiana?

Yes. Kotkapura Kennel Club holds its own 13th and 14th All Breeds Championship Dog Show on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026, a week after the Ludhiana show. They are different clubs with separate listings, judges and contacts.

What should I ask Ludhiana Kennel Club before I travel?

• The exact venue in Ludhiana, since the KCI listing names only the city
• The time the first rings open on Sunday 22 November, the only show day
• The price of a spectator ticket and where to park
• Which breeds each of the two judges takes, if the club can say
• Whether a late entry is possible, if you plan to show a dog

Choosing a purebred puppy after the Ludhiana show

Use the ring to shortlist two or three breeds, not to choose a puppy on the spot. Watch how each breed moves, how it reacts to strangers, and how much grooming the handlers do. Then compare the breeds at home against your space, your time and your budget.

When you are ready, browse KCI-registered puppies from verified breeders, or ask a puppy buyer consultant to help you decide.

Are you a breeder in Punjab?

Breeders in and around Ludhiana can register on Pupps & Stud and list their KCI-registered puppies for buyers who want a breeder they can meet in person.
